| In the Act. halal is defined as " Muslim Food" or "Guaranteed Halal" or " Halal". The Act ensures that all products endorsed as halal: |

do not include and contain any parts or materials from animals that are forbidden in Islam or unslaughtered animal as prescribed by Islamic laws |
| b. |
do not contain any impurities |
| c. |
are not prepared, processed or manufactured with tools and implements that are impure |
| d. |
are not contact or placed closely with impure food while being prepared, processed or manufacture red of do not comply with (a),(b) and (c). |

The term "impurity" in Islamic Laws does not only refer to pork,blood and carcass. " Impurity" also means unhygienic and harmful to the human well-being. Thus, they are strictly forbidden for Muslims..
